What does laminated mean?

What does laminated mean?
It refers to a molding method that combines multiple layers of the same or different materials as a whole under heating and pressure.

Commonly used in plastic processing, but also for rubber processing.

What does laminated mean?
In plastic processing, for thermoplastics, it is often used to produce artificial leather products or composite films; for thermosetting plastics, it is an important method for manufacturing reinforced plastics and products. Laminate the reinforcing materials impregnated with thermosetting resin such as paper, fabric, glass cloth, special fibers, etc., heat and pressurize to obtain various laminated products, such as laminates.

In rubber processing, laminated rubber and fabric can be laminated into tapes.

Lamination can be divided into high pressure method (high pressure layer forming) and low pressure method (low pressure lamination forming) according to the processing pressure.
